The Dictionary of Sydney is an innovative, collaborative online history project. If you have a comment, question or suggestion about the project, we'd love to hear from you. Please fill out this form and we'll be in touch as soon as possible.

  • We probably won't be able to help you with family history queries. The State Library of NSW (www.sl.nsw.gov.au) offers a free online information request service 'Ask A Librarian'. Many government records are available at State Records NSW (www.records.nsw.gov.au) and the digitised Australian newspapers on Trove are also a valuable way of searching for information (trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper). Try our blog's list of Other Sites to Visit (to the right of the screen) as well for local council and historical society websites too.
  • If your query/comment is about a specific page on the Dictionary’s website, please indicate here or copy the link in.
  • Details of your comments, suggestions or proposed contribution.
