In 2010 the Dictionary of Sydney Trust again participated in a successful ARC linkage grant application with Sydney University, this time with the Powerhouse Museum, State Records and Historic Houses Trust.

The project will see approximately $240,000 cash and $250,000 in kind going towards the further technical development of the Dictionary, particularly with regard to mobile applications and ‘living exhibitions’. This work will enable  temporary exhibitions staged by partner institutions to live on through the Dictionary rather than being packed away and forgotten.  The Dictionary’s partner contribution will be $10,000 for each of the 3 years of the project.
