Sydney Journal is the academic journal linked to the Dictionary of Sydney. It offers peer-reviewed publication of academic articles on Sydney’s history, as well as showcasing a range of content prepared for the Dictionary of Sydney.

Seven issues have been published since 2008.

An open-access online publication, Sydney Journal is hosted by UTS ePress, part of the library at University of Technology, Sydney, and runs on the Open Journal System, pioneered by the Public Knowledge Project at Simon Fraser University, Canada
