The Dictionary received a one-year sponsorship for the 2010–2011 year of $275,000 from the City of Sydney, providing us with a strong foundation to build the future on.

In mid-2011 the Dictionary signed a four-year Sponsorship Agreement with the City of Sydney taking the program through until mid-2015.  In addition to the provision of office space and facilities, the agreement comprises funding of $250,000 for 2011,  followed by $200,000 per annum thereafter.

This sponsorship has increased the capacity of the Dictionary significantly and provides the opportunity for it to move closer to sustainability over the longer period.
